At World Future Fund we have spent more than 15 years monitoring global trends. We have set up 300 indicators to track these trends, and have attempted to track them as far back to the past as possible.
As we look over the horizon into the future, we can see the storm clouds gathering ahead.
Our current leaders have taken deep mortgages against the future, running up historic levels of debt that are unsustainable. Debts against the economy and the planet.
Yet despite the severity of the problem, we have a political structure that is divorced from reality.
So we are here to monitor and discuss the current problems, as well as to talk about solutions, whether it be reform or radical political change.
