Diemonds
Originally from Toronto, Canada, kick-ass sleaze rockers known as Diemonds released their first EP, "In the Rough" independently in 2008. "In the Rough" was named as one of the "best albums of 2009" by Classic Rock Magazine. The literal diamond of the group is Priya Panda, a breath of fresh air in terms of female metal vocalists. Her band mates include Aiden Tranquada (drums), C.C. Diemond (guitar), Tommy Carvalho (bass), and Daniel DeKay (guitar).
The band's current full-length album, "The Bad pack was recorded and released in 2012 under the direction of label Underground Organization. Though the band has only two albums available to date, they are no strangers to the world of touring. Following the release of their EP, Diemonds toured heavily both in the United States and in their home country of Canada, even scoring the chance to perform alongside rock legends like Faster Pussycat. The band hit the road again in 2010, touring Canada to support California-based glam metal act, Dirty Penny. Touring continued into 2011, venturing back into the States, promoting both the EP and "The Bad Pack." During their travels, Diemonds has managed to perform at top notch venues such as Whisky A Go Go, Heavy MTL (Canadian metal fest), and even the well-known Rocklahoma festival.
