How do you Make Key Decisions? (Primeval Ghosts)
This is a short, simple, powerful, photo essay.
I like this a lot! It's creative, gets to the point, edgy, and inspiring.
Making Decisions in a Crisis (Primevalvoid)
Of all the longer, spiritual decision articles, I think this is the best one.
It sticks to the point that decision making involves guidance and discipline, it's not a 5 minute fix.
One critique I have about this article is that it mainly leans on Islam as a source of spiritual guidance.
The other articles below mention other religious traditions, so we could work that stuff into this article.
The Islam stuff works for me personally, but most of the people who read our stuff are not Muslims.
I think we could keep the Islam stuff, but also just make it more general or include other religions so our readers don't feel alienated.
This article is also very anti-occult, which I understand, but we have to keep in mind this will turn off a lot of our readers.
The Structure of Fear (World Future Fund)
This page could use subtitles.
There is stuff about realistic hope on this page, but it's on the bottom. I think this article starts out too negative.
People already read enough negative stuff about the future everyday. They're tired of it.
The stuff about realistic hope should be moved up so people are more inspired by this.
Decisions in a Crisis (Primeval Ghosts)
This one talks about the coming death toll in the billions.
Even though we've studied enough content to see that this is a real possibility, other people haven't.
So when we come out with a claim like that without backing it, most people on the internet are going to say, "Where is your proof?"
I think this article overall is too negative and will turn people off.
I get that when looking at the reality of our world situation it makes sense to be negative.
But people are surrounded by negative news and negative content on a daily basis.
Everyone I talk to, old and young, knows grim times are coming. Nobody except our leaders has any illusions about that.
The thing though, is that many people are responding to this knowledge by giving up and tuning out.
Our role is to motivate people to stand up and fight back, and we need a message of hope to do that.
Hitting people with more fear, and negativity, and Chris Hedges style gloom and doom, is just going to make people hit the bottle and tune out.
