The term "totalitarianism" was created by Mussolini, but it can apply to describe any authoritarian political system. We believe that it is important to study totalitarian history and totalitarian systems. Why? History has shown again and again, in times of political paralysis and crisis, violent, authoritarian solutions often enforce themselves. The best way to prevent such things from happening in the future is to encourage a comprehensive study of the past.
