However, there is hope. Today's problems are solvable from a scientific and technological point of view. Yet the trouble is finding the political will power to implement needed reform.

Today's environmental trends in America have no future. Our competitors in nations abroad are investing and saving in the future while America lags behind.
If the United States of America wants to stay relevant in the 21st century economy, we need to start implementing long term, and sustainable policies right away.

Strong economic reform requires a strong leader. Barack Obama came into office because he galvanized America with a message of hope in 2008.
In 2013 America has been demoralized by a series of political disasters, with the government shutdown being the latest fiasco.
Yet Barack Obama has a chance to get America excited again at the beginning of 2014, if he can outline a comprehensive plan for radical economic reform in his State of the Union Address.
This economic reform will include a five tier plan: Sustainability, Savings, Jobs, Transportation and Broadband for all.

ACHIEVING AN AGENDA OF GLOBAL COOPERATION
Obama was also voted into office by voters who hoped for an end to the wars in the Middle East.
As the economic crisis and environmental crisis spans the globe, now is the time for world wide cooperation.
We must examine our diplomacy and global policy and find solutions that accomplish peaceful negotiation -
rather than trying to kick start new wars that we increasingly can't afford.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT. WE CANNOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW. WE NEED REFORM TODAY
Time is running out. People should work for peaceful reform today.
Tomorrow, nature will impose changes on them whether they want to cooperate or not. Our job is to educate people about the need for action now.
